Keio Corporation will install used clothing collection boxes at the Keio Plaza Hotel on Saturday, February 1 and begin collecting unwanted clothing with the aim of reducing environmental impact and improving convenience for customers. This will be the first time in Japan that FASHION X used clothing collection boxes have been installed at a hotel. The collected used clothing will be diverted for recycling, and will be circulated as reused and upcycled items at various locations along the Keio railway line and elsewhere, thereby helping to reduce the burden on the global environment.
