(Head office: Nishi-ku, Yokohama; President: Yukihiro Kawamata; hereinafter "Keikyu"), in collaboration with FASHION X Corporation (Head office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Reiyuki Hatakeyama; hereinafter "FASHION X"), will begin a demonstration experiment on February 27 (Thursday) to collect and circulate clothing at stations and group facilities along the Keikyu Railway line. The experiment will begin on Thursday, February 27, 2012. This initiative will be implemented as a joint creation with a startup company under the "KEIKYU ACCELERATOR PROGRAM," an open innovation program sponsored by Keikyu Corporation. Keikyu Corporation and FASHION X will work together to reduce the burden on the global environment by conserving resources and energy and reducing CO2 emissions, while upgrading and enhancing station functions with the aim of creating a town along the rail line where people want to continue to live for many generations and continuously increasing the value of the rail line.
